Alcoholic Diseases

Diseases caused by alcohol:

  1. Alcoholism- Is when you are dependent on alcohol. Symptoms of this include repeated alcohol consumption. People that have this may experience dizziness, shakiness, and sweating.

  1. Alcoholic Liver Disease- Is caused from heavy drinking. Symptoms of Alcoholic Liver Disease include energy loss, poor appetite, weight loss, nausea, stomach pain, and small, red spider-like blood vessels on the skin.

  1. Alcoholic Hepatitis- Occurs when alcohol gets processed into the liver. Heavy drinking causes alcoholic hepatitis, but doctors aren’t completely sure why the condition develops.

In FFA there are many different things to learn, many contests to compete in, and many teams to join. For example here are some things you learn; breeds of cattle and pigs, the FFA creed, leadership, and personal growth, career success and many more skills.

PETA is an organization against animal cruelty. They do anything and everything they can to make FFA and agriculture to look bad. What they do is find one video, one picture and they post it all over Facebook, their website, and wherever else they can put it where people will see it. The video or picture usually shows someone doing something to an animal in a way that is not normal. They post comments and captions like “This is what agriculturalists do” “This is what FFA does” But that’s not true. That picture or video is one person, doing one thing, to one animal. That video or picture is not FFA and not agriculture.

They had this one post called “FFA is Lame AF.” It explained some things that you learn in FFA like leadership, personal growth, and career success. They say things like”Do you want to be a part of this” “This is FFA” And none of that is true.

They post pictures like these.

My Summer

I love gymnastics…I really enjoyed practicing my skills on the beach in Galveston.

Wow…what a fun summer!  Basketball camp, volleyball camp, cooking classes, Branson, Galveston…plus lots of great time with my friends.  I am so ready for school…can’t believe I’m a White Oak Intermediate senior!
